I have a Habit , i always liked pay attention to “Kindle” the new dynamics on google . Because i can find more interesting Kindle Story .
for example the follow kindle story :
I ordered the tenth book in a favorite series and the cover was the correct cover but the content was actually book number 8. I’ve tried to delete and reorder this book 3 times and it didn’t work, then I deleted it and decided to wait and see if the issue would be resolved but so far almost a month later and Amazon has still not fixed the problem. There is no update available in my “manage content” section…I’ve waited a year for this final book and I would love to read it, please help.

OK, you went far out of your way to make your life difficult. There’s a 7 day return window for refund which is long past plus you deleted the book which is the same as throwing a physical book in the trash: The book store won’t do much about that if you tossed the bad item out.
There’s a link on most books’ listing page to report formatting and content issues or you could have contacted Amazon directly. They can’t fix what they don;t know about and if the problem is on the publisher or author’s end those are the only entities that can fix it as Amazon cannot change or edit content.
You need to talk to Customer Service. This is a peer to peer forum for help using Amazon’s digital devices and services.
